      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Juneau’s Post 25 American Legion baseball team fell 3-2 to Service in their second game at the Alaska state championships at Anchorage’s Mulcahy Stadium on Saturday. Juneau had beaten Chugiak 3-0 on Thursday.

    • Juneau Major All-Stars are District Champions, Sweep Ketchikan

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A pitching gem, a fielding show, spectacular steals and a team performance gave the Juneau Gastineau Channel Little League Major Baseball 10-12 year olds the District 2 Championship in a 6-1 win over Ketchikan on Saturday at Miller Field. The team completed a three-game sweep in its best-of-five series and earned a berth in the state championship at Anchorage next week.

    • Juneau Majors Take Two Game Lead over Ketchikan in District Tournament

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Gastineau Channel Little League Major Baseball 10-12 year olds All-Stars defeated Ketchikan 7-4 on Friday in the District 2 tournament at Miller Field and have a two game to zero lead in their best-of-five series which continues Saturday at 2 p.m.

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The 2021 Majors, 10-12 year old, All-Stars from Juneau and Ketchikan are playing a best-of-five game series at Miller Field to determine the Southeast district winner to travel to Anchorage for the state tournament (July 31 - August 5) and possibly a trip to regionals in San Bernardino, California (Aug. 8-14) and on to the World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania (Aug. 19-29).
