Capital City Fire Rescue alters training process to save water

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Capital City Fire Rescue does training year-round throughout the community.

As calls allowed, the Capital City Fire Rescue performed a drill Friday night at the Adair Kennedy fields.

With the water shortage in the valley, Capital City Fire Rescue used water stored in the tanker to lessen the impact on water conservation efforts.

The tank was then refilled downtown.

Crews discharged water onto the ball fields.
