CCFR, JPD and Coast Guard assist in water rescue

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Capital City Fire Rescue, the Juneau Police Department, and the U.S. Coast Guard took part in a water rescue on Tuesday.

    The incident began around 9 a.m. when a man walked away from Bartlett Regional Hospital during an initial investigation by JPD.

    According to CCFR Assistant Chief Ed Quinto, after about an hour in the water, the man was able to walk up to the highway.

    The individual was later contacted by JPD.
