Clorox says demand high for wipes during pandemic

Oakland, California (ABC) - Demand for disinfectant wipes manufactured by Clorox is up 500 percent during the pandemic, company officials said.

Clorox President and CEO Linda Dendle said the company donated $1 million to a group that helps teachers prepare for school.

The grant allows teachers to buy anything they need to support the classroom and their students.  This includes electronics, masks, and other supplies.

Teachers can apply for the grants on the company website, clorox.com

The company has increased production of products by 50 percent since the pandemic began.  They manufacture close to 1 million packages of wipes every day and ship them to stores.
