COVID-19 update 10-26

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - 14 positive cases of COVID-19 were reported in Juneau residents yesterday, by the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services. 4 people are hospitalized at Bartlett regional hospital for the virus. No one at the Juneau School District has tested positive since Monday.

    Juneau Public Health reported one cluster in a group of kids. JPH also said that there were no active cases at Lemon Creek Correctional Center as of the end of last week and that many of the cases from this weekend were known contacts to existing cases.

    Statewide, 753 new positive cases were reported, 749 are residents and 4 are nonresidents.

    The state also reports 11 recent deaths, 10 resident deaths, and one nonresident.
