Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Secon and the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) will continue night work, including milling and paving, through the week of May 15.

Night shifts are scheduled from 7:00 pm to 5:30 am.

On Monday, May 15, the Crew will also be in the project area during the day from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Paving is expected to be complete by the morning of Sunday, May 21.

This work will result in single-lane closures; flaggers will be present to guide traffic through the work area.

Work will begin on the mountainside of S. Franklin Street and Thane Road, and then shift to the waterside.

They advise drivers to exercise caution when traveling through the project area.
