Two new COVID cases associated with Thunder High School reported

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The City and Borough of Juneau Emergency Operations Center report two new COVID 19 cases Tuesday that are associated with Thunder Mountain High School.

    Public Health attributes on case to secondary transmission.  The other is under investigation.

    As a result, the school will remain on a distance learning stance until Monday at least.

    The two additional cases bring the case count there up to five.

    A release from the school district says activities other than wrestling and boys soccer may continue with scheduled practice and competition.

    Statewide the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reports 107 new cases.
