Wrangell sees new 1 case of COVID-19 on Tuesday

    Wrangell, Alaska (KINY) - The City and Borough of Wrangell is adding a new case of COVID-19.

    On Monday, Nov. 30, Wrangell’s Unified Command was notified of a new confirmed COVID-19 case.

    This case is a resident, is asymptomatic, has been notified, and is in isolation. This case is non-travel related.

    The Section of Epidemiology has been notified and Public Health Officials will begin investigating the case and conduct contact tracing.

    A Public Health representative will notify persons who may have come in close contact with the individual.

    Free community testing is available at the clinic parking lot every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
