Juneau will continue to see snow along with Haines and Skagway, while Sitka and Ketchikan can expect to see rain. Juneau will have light winds with heaver winds for the outside waters.
Executive Director for St. Vincent de Paul, Dave Ringle met Angela Montgomery on capital chat to talk about their mission of helping the homeless in Juneau. Ringle expects to see more homeless people in their counts by the end of the month.
Another Fentanyl-related arrest was made in Craig following a drug bust in Juneau last week, also related to Fentanyl.
Platypus mini-con was held over the weekend at Juneau Public Libraries. The event took place due to renovations being done to Centennial Hall and a second fall event will be held later this year.
The Juneau City and Borough Assembly of the Whole hold their second meeting of the year tonight at 7 pm. Mayor Beth Weldon was on Action Line last Friday and highlighted a very busy agenda being presented at the meeting.
And COVID-19 has become a leading cause of death in children and young persons.
