    Reports include:

    Capital City Fire Rescue responded to the Mendenhall Glacier late Tuesday morning on a report that a man fell through the lake ice.

    A rural Alaska man who threatened to kill Alaska’s two U.S. senators in a series of profanity-laced voice messages left at their offices in Washington has pleaded guilty to making the threats in exchange for having other charges dropped.

    Juneau is experiencing a rise in COVID cases with the community averaging about 38 new cases a day over the long weekend, setting a new 7-day case rate record over the course of the pandemic.

    A state panel is proposing to increase the pay of Alaska lawmakers but to cut their per diem allowance.
