Juneau Police Department and Capital City Fire Rescue responded to a two-vehicle collision at the Egan Vanderbilt intersection Monday morning. No serious injuries were reported.
Spencer Fielding, a meteorologist with National Weather Service Juneau talked to News of the North about how the weather's looking for the 4th of July festivities. There's also a special weather statement in place for later in the week.
Engineer Sigrid Dahlberg is a member of the technical team that puts on fireworks on the Fourth of July here in the Capital City. She gave details on the fireworks show tonight.
Friday was Chancellor Karen Carey's last day as Chancellor of the University of Alaska Southeast.
Juneau Police Department held a retirement ceremony for Lead Community Service Officer Bob Dilley Friday.
Juneau Chief of Police Ed Mercer has announced his retirement effective July 31st, following over 30 years in law enforcement in Southeast Alaska.
