      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Juneau-Douglas Yadaa.at Kale tennis team, a mix of Juneau and Thunder Mountain students, is hosting their Region V tournament at the Alaska Club Juneau Valley, beginning today at 5 p.m., continuing on Thursday and Friday at 1 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m.

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - For the third straight week the Juneau Huskies sit on top of the Alaska Sports Broadcasters Poll, leading the Division I Cook Inlet Conference with a 5-1 record after beating Bartlett (3-3) 27-14 last Saturday and hosting South Anchorage this weekend with the conference title on the line.

    • TMHS, JDHS Boys Swim at Petersburg

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Thunder Mountain Falcons topped the team scoring on Friday and Saturday at the Petersburg Invitational behind another solid performance from Patrick Foy, but Juneau-Douglas Yadaa.at Kalé stayed in the mix with strong swims from Tytan Frawley, Chris Degener and Chaz VanSlyke.

    • Crimson Bears, Falcons Swim Girls Win at Petersburg

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Juneau-Douglas Yadaa.at Kalé and Thunder Mountain girls swim teams took team titles at the Petersburg Invitational on Saturday behind strong relay wins and group placings. JDHS scored 525 points to TMHS’ 370 on Friday and TMHS scored 525 to JDHS’ 489 on Saturday and the rest of Southeast chased the two schools throughout.

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Athletes from the Juneau-Douglas Yadaa.at Kalé Crimson Bears and TMHS Falcons cross-country teams ran in the Eagle Beach Dual Meet last Saturday.

    • Falcons Dihle Fastest Girl in Sitka XC Field, Crimson Bears Girls Top Team

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Thunder Mountain Falcons senior Kiah Dihle continued her quest for a Region V Cross-Country Championship by winning the Sitka Invitational Meet in a time of 19 minutes and 16 seconds on Saturday and the Juneau-Douglas Yadaa.at Kalé Crimson Bears did the same in the team scoring.

    • Ketchikan’s Lapinski Top Boy at Sitka XC Meet, Sitka Wolves Top Team

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Ketchikan’s Mickey Lapinski topped the field at the Sitka Invitational Cross-Country Meet on Saturday but the Sitka Wolves won the team title with Thunder Mountain and Juneau-Douglas Yadaa.at Kalé running for second and third.

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Juneau Huskies continue to find ways to impress the football world on high school Saturdays as they overcame another powerful rival on the road in a 27-14 display of pigskin dominance over the Bartlett Golden Bears in Anchorage.
